KLM is on schedule to open a new Crown Lounge in the Intercontinental departures area at Amsterdam Airport Schiphol by December 2008. Modelled on the Europa Lounge concept, this new 3,500m2 facility will offer 840 comfortable seats styled in the latest fashion. While this new facility is completed, the capacity of the existing Crown Lounges in the Intercontinental departures area (L52 and L41) will be slightly reduced. Until 30 June 2008, passengers arriving on Intercontinental flights and transiting to a Schengen destination are kindly requested to use the Crown Lounge in the Schengen area (L25). The new lounge will be fully ready at the end of 2008.
