In cooperation with KPN HotSpots, Schiphol offers you Wireless Internet throughout the entire airport. You simply use your own laptop or PDA to go online through our portal which will automatically appear once you open your browser. On this portal you can pay for your internet access through your credit card.
Communication Zones
For those travelling without a laptop, Schiphol Airport offers internet access using one of the terminals broadband desktop computers, which are located in several locations throughout the terminal. The computers are situated in the Communication Zones. These you can find on Schiphol Plaza and beyond the passport control in lounge 1 (2nd floor), lounge 2 (2nd floor), the C-gate, the D-gate, and lounge 4. You can also locate them on the (interactive) map you will find on this site.
Communication Centres
Beyond the passport control you can find two Communication Centres that have been set up to accommodate all of your (business) communication. Here you can not only use internet but also make use of the following services:
- (International) phone calls using our telephones
- Private workspace in a mini-office
- Postal service
- Copy, send faxes and scan documents
In the Communication Centres you can pay for your internet access using credit card or cash. We accept 6 different currencies.
Customer Care Officers are on hand to answer any questions you may have. For example, if you need technical support or help setting up your laptop to use our wireless internet connection.
Internet at the Communication Centre
The Communication Centre offers you a quiet workspace where you can make use of the wireless Internet or use a desktop computer to access the Internet. The Centre also offers laptop connection using a LAN connection to access the internet. You will also find power outlets where you can charge your laptop or load your cell phone.
On the desktop computers you can view your documents but not edit them. This is available in one of our mini-offices (see below).
Telephone
Located in the Communication Centres are numerous telephones where you can place phone calls. If necessary, the Customer Care Officers in the Communication Centres can assist you when placing international calls.
Mini-Offices
Will you be utilizing more of the services and would like to have a quiet, private workspace, you will find a mini-office the ideal solution. The mini-offices offer room for one or two people. Available for you in the office is an internet pc with Office applications installed, a laptop LAN connection for your laptop, telephone, fax, and a printer. You pay a standard fee for the first half hour, after which you are charged per minute. Included in the price are phone/fax to land lines within West-Europe, to Australia, New Zealand, and to the United States. (For other rates please enquire at the counter of the Communication Centre.) In the double mini-offices you have access to a conference telephone.
Postal Service
The Communication Centres are also TNT service points that offer limited postal services. Here you can send (registered) mail inside of Holland (no packages), or buy postage stamps or envelopes.Copy, print, fax, scan
Quickly make a copy, send a fax or print a document? Do it all at the Communication Centre. Here you can make black/white as well as colour copies and printouts or send and receive faxes. If you would like to send a hard-copy document via email, the Communication Centre staff can scan and email it for you.
Important to know: The Communication Centre is located beyond the passport control and only accessible to ticketed passengers; the business hours are 06:00am until 10:00pm.
